[Event] The “Geo” turn in Translation Studies” Panel American Comparative Literature Association Annual Meeting 2022

The seminar titled “The “Geo” turn in Translation Studies” in the forthcoming ACLA (American Comparative Literature Association) Annual Meeting to be held in National Taiwan Normal University from June 15 to 18, 2022 questions how geographical, geometrical and geocritical factors influence translational power dynamics and as such would analyse translation as a point of intersection and relationality that redefines our concepts of spatial axis and territorial coordinates.

The portal for submission of abstracts for paper presentation is now open. Scholars from any discipline and background interested in this seminar and want to engage with questions of space/spatiality/territoriality/geography/ geometry/geocriticism and translation are encouraged to send the abstracts. Abstracts for paper presentation will be accepted through October 31, 2021.
