This post is part time and permanent, working 17.5 hours per week. 

The School of Humanities at Westminster is seeking to appoint a 0.5 FTE Lecturer in Chinese Conference Interpreting on our MA Translation and Interpreting. The post holder will be expected to lead the Chinese<>English conference interpreting provision on our programme, contribute to other relevant areas of teaching, including final project supervision, and undertake a range of operational duties as required. 

We are particularly interested in candidates with recent professional experience in both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, who can bring real-life expertise to our students. You will hold a degree or a post-graduate qualification in conference interpreting and have previous teaching/training experience. 

Selected applicants will be invited to attend an interview and will be asked to present a short teaching sample as part of the interview.
