[Registration is now open] SISU Media School 2021 | Virtual Event

2nd International Research School for Media Translation and Digital Culture

5-17 July 2021

The 2nd International Research School for Media Translation and Digital Culture, organised by the Baker Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies at Shanghai International Studies University, will take place in July 2021.

We had originally planned to run the school in dual mode: face-to-face as well as virtually. However, given the continuing disruption caused by COVID-19, we will now be running the School totally in virtual mode. SISU’s virtual environment will enable us to deliver the full programme that we had originally planned to run combining both asynchronous and synchronous activities.

In order for facilitate participation in this virtual event, we have extended the period over which lectures and tutorials will be delivered. The School will now run between 5-17 July

The 2021 School programme remains unchanged, including its featured theme: Translation and Distribution in the Streaming Age. The Early Registration deadline has now been extended to 22 May 2021
