Applications are invited for the post of teaching-focused Lecturer in Translation Studies (English-Chinese), which is tenable from 1 September 2020 for a period of 5 months. You will be primarily responsible for delivering English-Chinese (Mandarin) translation tutorials in audiovisual translation and literary translation on the MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies.

You must have a PhD in a relevant field, submitted or very near completion, and demonstrable teaching experience in Translation Studies at university level. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of facilitating student learning in virtual as well as face-to-face environments. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with students.
