Neke The New Zealand Journal of Translation Studies

Theme: Translation and Sustainability

The second thematic issue is: “Translation and Sustainability”.

Contributions should be submitted by Thursday, July 31, 5pm (NZDT). The authors of the selected contributions will be notified by August 15. The final submission date for any revised contribution is Friday, September 20, 5pm. The issue will go live on Friday, September 27, 5pm ahead of International Translation Day.

There is no deadline for non-thematic issue, as the papers are published on an ongoing basis.

Author Guidelines All contributions should be submitted as RTF attachment, follow APA referencing style and be accompanied by:

a statement of authorship;

copyright clearance where required;

a 200-word abstract and a 100-word biographical note.

 

In terms of word limit:

a) non-thematic and thematic essays should be between 3000 and 5000 words;

b) interviews should be between 2000 and 3000 words;

c) translations should be up to 1500 words regardless of genre;

d) book reviews should be up to 2000 words;

e) captions have no prescribed word limit. Relevant images are welcomed and should be 300 dpi and copyright-clear.
