CFP: Invitation to submit a paper to volume of selected papers on (beyond limits in) PSIT.
We would like to invite you to focus together on the issues related to ‘Beyond Limits in Public Service Interpreting and Translating’, the theme of the 6th conference on PSIT held in Alcala de Henares, Spain, (March 6-8, 2017) (tisp2017.com) We would like to invite you, in fact, to contribute to broaden the scope of this outlook and really ‘go beyond’ thinking out of the box in a new publication.
Pooling our contributions together means continuing and, above all, expanding our dialogues and exchanges of views not only between academics, practitioners, educators but, hopefully, also including representatives of public institutions, legal professionals, NGOs, non-profit humanitarian organizations and other stakeholders interested in the issues of intercultural communication –and intercommunication- settings which can, should, or still don’t rely of interpreting and translating services.
If you are interested in participating in this extended dialogue to be published tentatively by Benjamins, please send us your proposals containing a title and word abstract (200-300 words) by SEPTEMBER 10, 2017, along with a BIO note.
