2021 Call for Papers:

Current Trends in Translation Teaching and Learning E (CTTL E) is a double-blind refereed open access journal that explores a variety of issues related to translation teaching and learning. We seek qualitative and quantitative research articles that are relevant to this subject. The publication is indexed in the ESCI of the Web of Science and is available via EBSCO and is free online via our website. The length of papers should be around 2500 to 6000 words. The deadline for submission of articles is May 1, 2021.

Book Review Guidelines

Current Trends in Translation Teaching and Learning E (CTTL E) is a double-blind refereed open access journal that explores a variety of issues related to translation teaching and learning. The publication is indexed in the ESCI of the Web of Science and is available via EBSCO.


CTTL E welcomes reviews in the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies (particularly translation teaching and learning) and its related disciplines, with a particular focus on the reviews from an interdisciplinary exploration. The main objective of the review section is to introduce and discuss those works that indicate the most important developments and achievements in the field.


Reviews should provide a concise and intuitive overview of the work’s contents, discussion of the work’s relevance to Translation and Interpreting Studies and focus on a critical evaluation or constructive comments of the work, if possible making a comparison of other works on this topic.


Reviews should be written in clear, concise and grammatical English and submitted in electronic format. If you are not writing in your native language, please have your text checked by a native speaker.
The standard length of a review is 1000-1500 words (including reference).


Please use Times New Roman font in size 12 with double line spacing. Margins should be at least 2.5 cm.
For the title of your review, please use the following format:
Hatim, Basil. (2014). Teaching and Researching Translation (Second Edition). London/New York: Routledge. pp. xiv+326. ISBN 978-1-4082-9763-6.
